This past June, Steve had the opportunity to style a private dinner for 70 as part of the 2017 Atlanta Food and Wine Festival. The theme of the dinner, “Dining by Personality,” was conceived by the talented Jason Tesauro of Modern Gentleman, also our host for the evening. Also making the evening supremely memorable were […]
We all love a long weekend, a cook out, or trip to the beach. But, that’s really not what this holiday is about… It’s about remembering all of those who gave their all to protect our freedoms and for that, we are eternally grateful. We hope you all take a moment to reflect upon what […]
The late Alexander Girard has been an inspiration to Steve since first seeing his iconic mid-century designs. When you think of mid-century design, chances are you envision a Girard design, whether you know it or not. As a multi-platform designer, Girard is especially meaningful to Steve, as he continues to expand his own design platforms, […]
Plein Air Painting with Steve Apertivo, yes please! Soldata Romano II One of the benefits of being in one place for a longer period of time is you make friends with the locals. Last year, we introduced our blog readers to Dress for Success, a non-profit organization that does a tremendous job of providing interview suits, confidence boosts, and career development to low-income women. They’re back on our radar now, with a fantastic promotion in conjunction with O Magazine and Talbots. Seven new pieces were designed for Talbots in collaboration with […]
